In the past, the kingdom of Kouka was governed by a red dragon in human form. Four warriors born with dragon blood stood beside him, guiding the realm to prosperity. Over time, this story faded into a children's legend. As the only princess of Kouka, Yona enjoys a pampered existence. She loves her cousin Su-won and is guarded by her protector Son Hak, leaving her unaware of the harsh truths beyond the castle. But this peaceful facade shatters when her beloved Su-won leads a bloody revolt and kills her father. Forced to escape with only Hak at her side. Even with enemies everywhere, the exiled princess still wants to rescue her kingdom. An exiled priest tells her that her sole chance lies in finding the four legendary dragon warriors. Guided by this seemingly mythical tale, Yona embarks on a journey to locate these warriors, determined to reclaim her kingdom.
