Kaoru Tono hears a legend about the Urashima Tunnel, a place where space and time do not function normally. According to the story, anyone who enters the tunnel can obtain whatever they wish for, but at the cost of years from their own lifespan. When Kaoru encounters a tunnel that matches this description, he considers using it to bring back his sister Karen, who died in an accident five years ago. However, the new transfer student, Anzu Hanaki, appears and offers to help him uncover the tunnel's secrets. Despite her offer, Kaoru wonders what her true motives are. After the tunnel takes its toll, he must confront the question of what he will have left to sacrifice.
