An alternate conclusion to Steins;Gate begins with the eccentric mad scientist Okabe, struggling to recover from a failed attempt to save Kurisu. He resolves to give up and abandons his lively scientist alter ego, seeking to forget the past. When everything seems normal, he is pulled back into the past by meeting an acquaintance of Kurisu, who tells him that a device has begun testing that stores human memories and creates a simulation of them with their characteristics and personalities. Okabe starts testing and discovers that the simulation of Kurisu has brought back anguish and some new, unexpected tragedies.

Background

Steins;Gate 0 adapts the visual novel of the same name. The first four volumes adapt the Promised Rinascimento route, and the last two volumes adapt the Vega and Altair route. The series was published in English by Udon Entertainment as 2-in-1 omnibus volumes from September 21, 2021, to January 11, 2022.
