A quiet life selling remedies and medicines in a rural village is the apothecary's routine, until a pawnbroker presents him with a tempting, sinister offer: the ultimate component for crafting a mythical cure. That component, however, is a critically wounded elf. Ancient lore claims that grinding up elf flesh and bone creates a genuine universal antidote. This elven woman lies near death, having been brutally abused by slave traders. Overcome with fury, the apothecary swears to restore her to health and joy, whatever the cost.
