In the depths of Gensokyo's Bamboo Forest of the Lost, the grand mansion Eientei serves as the home of the Lunar princess Kaguya Houraisan and her advisor Eirin Yagokoro. The estate is guarded by a group of youkai rabbits led by the earthly rabbit Tewi Inaba and the lunar rabbit Reisen Udongein Inaba, who protect the princess from potential threats. Each month, their main duty is to prepare mochi for the Moon Festival, known as Reigetsusai. From Kaguya's heated rivalry with Fujiwara no Mokou to Tewi's playful pranks and Reisen's well-meaning but flawed nature, even the secluded Eientei is full of amusement and delight.
