Assassination Classroom
暗殺教室
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu
A massive explosion instantly transforms the moon into a permanent crescent, altering the night sky forever. A yellow tentacled monster appears before world governments and proudly claims responsibility for the disaster, threatening to do the same to Earth within a year. Moving at speeds of Mach 20, the creature makes an unusual request: to teach at the prestigious Kunugigaoka Junior High School. To keep the monster contained, the government reluctantly agrees, leaving the students of Class 3-E with an impossible mission—to kill the creature that destroyed the moon. Despite carrying the weight of the world, the students have their own struggles. Positioned at the lowest tier of Kunugigaoka's strict academic hierarchy, they endure constant prejudice from faculty and peers. Filled with a sense of defeat, they doubt their ability to succeed in everyday life, much less defeat a monster far beyond human capability. However, as the mysterious creature—dubbed Koro-sensei—teaches them lessons in both murder and school subjects, the students gradually discover the confidence to stand up and target the greatest teacher in history. Included one-shot: Volume 21: Tokyo Department Sensou Taikenki (Tokyo Department Store War Chronicles)
