Continues the story of Assassination Classroom: Meeting Time
The zero episode of the Ansatsu Kyoushitsu TV series premiered at the Jump Festa 2014 events and was later added as a bonus feature on the first Blu-ray and DVD volume. Koro-sensei reflects on his first encounter with Karasuma, which began with a heated clash and confrontation between them, eventually leading to mutual respect. However, Karasuma then notes that their actual initial meeting was far less dramatic.

Within the neglected confines of Kunugigaoka Middle School, a rundown building houses the outcasts and low achievers of Class 3-E. Cut off from their peers with dim futures ahead, their luck shifts when they receive the immense assignment to eliminate the deadliest threat to mankind—their new teacher. This tentacled being, called "Koro-sensei," who has already destroyed the moon, announces his plan to wipe out Earth by the following March. The challenge of killing him is formidable; Koro-sensei can move at speeds over Mach 20 and is nearly immune to regular weapons. Yet, he proves to be an outstanding instructor, pushing the students to excel in their studies while sharpening their skills as aspiring assassins, believing they can return to the main campus in triumph. Nagisa Shiota and the rest of Class 3-E start a journey of trial and learning, seeking to find Koro-sensei's weaknesses before time runs out and the world's future is at stake.
