In "Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii," Yoshino Somei's life shifts from that of a typical high schooler to one involved with organized crime. As the granddaughter of the Somei Group's head—the largest yakuza family in Kansai—her world changes upon learning of a planned merger between her family's organization and the Kanto-based Miyama syndicate. This union is to be sealed through a marriage between the respective leaders' grandchildren, with Yoshino as one party. Though she tries to avoid the arrangement, she travels to Tokyo to meet her fiancé, Kirishima Miyama, finding him unexpectedly charming and kind. Her visit soon becomes an extended stay, and six months pass as Yoshino lives under the Miyama clan's roof. At school, she faces hostility from Kirishima's many admirers, who resent her connection to him. However, Kirishima is far from an ideal partner; he is bound for a life in the yakuza. The story follows Yoshino's adjustment to life in Tokyo, where she must navigate both personal conflicts and the intricacies of the yakuza world—a situation not entirely foreign to her given her upbringing.
