The lives of four high school boys—Natsuki Hashiba, a perpetual romantic; Keiichi Katakura, who has a sadistic streak; Tomoya Matsunaga, a known womanizer; and Tsuyoshi Naoe, a clever otaku—are the focus of Nijiiro Days. Constantly struggling with their schoolwork, they spend their time messing around and stumbling through romantic escapades. On Christmas Eve, Natsuki gets dumped by his girlfriend. While he's crying alone, a girl dressed as Santa Claus gives him a pack of tissues, and he hands her the scarf he had bought for his ex. When the holiday break ends and Natsuki goes back to school, he discovers the girl is named Anna Kobayakawa—and, luckily for him, she attends the same school. Now smitten with Anna, Natsuki tries to get closer to her, though his friends keep interfering with his plans. The series was published in English as Rainbow Days by VIZ Media under the Shojo Beat imprint from December 6, 2022, to June 3, 2025.
