Date of death: July 18, 2019 Birth place: Hyogo Prefecture, Japan Yasuhiro Takemoto had worked at Kyoto Animation for almost his entire animation career, joining the company in 1996. Nurse Witch Komugi-chan Magikarte was his directorial debut, and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu being his first solo directorial debut. Yasuhiro Takemoto was one of the 35 victims killed in the Kyoto Animation arson attack. His death was confirmed by his relatives on July 26, 2019.
