Katou, Naoyuki

Personal Information

Born in 1952, Naoyuki Katou is a Japanese illustrator hailing from Hamamatsu City. Recognized as a prominent science-fiction artist since the 1970s, he has contributed his work to numerous science fiction and fantasy magazines, novels, and games. In 1972, he became one of the four founding members of Studio Nue, joining Haruka Takachiho, Kazutaka Miyatake, and Kenichi Matsuzaki. Additionally, he has released several compilation books featuring his artwork.
