Masaharu Fukuyama, born in Nagasaki Prefecture, is a renowned Japanese singer-songwriter, guitarist, record producer, actor, radio personality, and photographer. Represented by Amuse, Inc., he is recognized as one of Japan's leading male artists, distinguished by his characteristic deep, low voice. His professional journey began in 1990 with the release of "Tsuioku no Ame no Naka." In the realm of voice acting, Fukuyama made his debut portraying the character Fukuyama Masaaki in Doraemon, a role specifically created based on his own image. His extensive discography features numerous studio albums, starting with Dengon in 1990 and continuing through Lion and Bros. in 1991, followed by Boots (1992), Calling (1993), On and On (1994), Sing a Song (1998), F (2001), 5 Nen Mono (2006), and Zankyō (2009). He has also released several compilation collections, including M Collection: Kaze o Sagashiteru (1995), Magnum Collection 1999 "Dear" (1999), Magnum Collection "Slow" (2003), and The Best Bang!! (2010). In 2010, he portrayed Sakamoto Ryōma in the NHK production Ryōmaden.
