Michael Deffert was born in Hamburg, Germany. He is well known for his German dubbing work, particularly for voicing Aladdin in the German versions of "Aladdin," "The Return of Jafar," and "Aladdin and the King of Thieves." His filmography also includes the role of Axel Blackmar in the German dub of "Arizona Dream" and Wade "Cry-Baby" Walker in the German version of "Cry-Baby." In television, Deffert provided the German voice for Shaun in "Shaun of the Dead" and Trey Atwood in "The O.C."
