In a world where vampires possess a genetic structure nearly identical to humans, the key difference lies in their inability to restrain themselves once exposed to human blood. These beings, known as devils by society, grapple with this fatal weakness. Tsukasa Taira, an ordinary girl, catches the attention of the vampire Shouta Akimura, who develops feelings for her. To avoid harming her, Shouta resorts to feeding on others to satisfy his bloodlust, but he constantly hovers on the edge of losing control. Detective Yuuki Anzai intervenes to protect Tsukasa from becoming Shouta's next victim. While escorting her home, she finds herself drawn to Anzai, unaware that he too is a vampire. Their cautious romance unravels a web of violent secrets and betrayal.
