In a slightly futuristic world, Earth is under attack by interdimensional aliens known as the Nova. The story centers on Kazuya Aoi, a Japanese boy who enrolls at a special academy designed to train genetically enhanced girls called Pandoras to fight these aliens, alongside their male partners, known as Limiters, who can use a unique ability called "freezing" to immobilize enemies. Kazuya meets Satellizer el Bridget, an older girl who is the most powerful Pandora in her class but has yet to choose a Limiter. Despite warnings from his friends, Kazuya decides to become her Limiter.

Background
Freezing has been published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment in 2-in-1 omnibuses since June 23, 2015. An artbook titled Reminiscence (レミニッセンス), which collects illustrations from 2006-2014, was released in Japan on March 3, 2015.
