Gi Yuh heads the most powerful gang at his high school. At home, he lives with his younger sister, who appears to have deep affection for him. One day, he tries to rescue the beautiful Ha Na from an oncoming truck, but he ends up taking the hit himself and slips into a coma that lasts two weeks. While unconscious, he wanders into a strange dreamworld, and once he wakes up, something about him has changed. He keeps having recurring dreams that seem to show a version of himself from a past life or another time. Seeking answers, he turns to his teacher, who has connections to people involved in fortune-telling and the supernatural. There, he finally learns the truth behind his condition: he is meant to be a "higher" ghost—an entity that takes over the place of someone who is already dead or on the verge of dying.
