After a major earthquake struck the university town of Shiromitsugawa, the sacred treasure at the Hakuda Tsukumo Shrine was damaged, causing mysterious objects known as artifacts to appear from a parallel world. These artifacts granted special abilities to anyone who possessed them. An incident occurred where someone misused those powers to turn people into stone. Kakeru, who has a strong sense of responsibility, offered assistance to Miyako in searching for the culprit.
