In "Dysfunctional Family Theory," Sentarou and Touma face an unusual and difficult situation: for the next three months, they must live together in Sentarou’s small apartment with six-year-old Meguru, who is tasked with choosing one of them to be her new father. After Meguru's mother passed away, both men were named as possible fathers, leaving the final decision to Meguru. Neither Sentarou nor Touma is ready for the demands of parenthood, and sharing a home only adds to their struggle. They clash frequently due to their opposing personalities, yet Meguru shows surprising maturity throughout. As they manage this complicated shared life, the unresolved question lingers: which man will Meguru ultimately pick as her father?
