One day, while lingering in the subway car she always wanders, the lonely ghost Park Ja-Eon is given a rare opportunity by a deity: relive one year of her life and, if she succeeds, claim a place in eternal paradise. With the help of a grumpy divine guardian and a new power that lets her see other spirits, Ja-Eon starts her senior year of high school for a second time. As the unlikely pair works to aid both ghosts and living people, they slowly begin to look inward at their own bonds and the things they left unresolved. But the clock is running out on Ja-Eon’s one chance to make things right—will there be enough time, or will she lose paradise for good? This work won the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Grand Prize at the 2019 Korea Contents Award. It was first serialized on Dillyhub in 2018, and Munhakdongne has been publishing it since 2020.

Rebirth in Paradise began as a web comic submitted to Dillyhub, where 22 chapters were released from November 23, 2018 to February 1, 2020, and has been published in book format by Munhak Dongne (문학동네) since October 14, 2020. Official serialization began on KakaoPage on December 24, 2021. The series has been published digitally in English by Tapas Media since May 23, 2022.
