Following the graduation of the other members, Takezou Kurata is left as the sole remaining member and the new president of the Koto Music Club. Facing the difficult task of recruiting new members, he finds little interest. At his wit's end, the notorious delinquent Chika Kudou suddenly joins and insists on taking over as club president. With the help of koto virtuoso Satowa Houzuki, who uses her charm to attract Kudou's lively friends, including Saneyasu Adachi, Michitaka Sakai, and Kouta Mizuhara, the club begins to flourish again. Now with a full roster, Houzuki sets their sights high, declaring their ambition to become the nation's top koto players—much to Kurata's dismay. As this diverse group of aspiring musicians navigates the many challenges ahead, they must confront their individual fears and unite to make their dreams a reality.
