Kinou no Haru de, Kimi wo Matsu

In the past, Kanae, a high school student, left his hometown on the small island of Sodeshima to pursue his studies in Tokyo. Disappointed with life in the big city, he returns to Sodeshima and reconnects with his childhood friend, Akari. However, just as they begin to rekindle their old bond, Kanae finds himself transported four days into the future at 6 PM, discovering that Akari’s older brother and Kanae’s childhood idol, Akito, has passed away. Kanae learns from Akari that he will experience these four days in reverse, a phenomenon known as "Rollback." This concept was previously explained by Kanae himself to Akari in a time he has yet to experience. With this knowledge, Kanae decides to utilize the Rollback to try and save Akito and mend Akari's broken heart.
