夜廻り猫

Fukaya started drawing the manga and sharing it on Twitter in 2015. The story follows a cat that is attracted to the smell of tears and approaches anyone who is crying to comfort or encourage them. The work won the Short Work Prize at the 21st Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2017.

Background

Yomawari Neko began as a web comic on the author's Twitter account on October 22, 2015. One volume was released by Kadokawa on June 30, 2016, and subsequent volumes have been released by Kodansha. The series has also been serialized on Moae since March 23, 2017.
