In the Uguisuzaka Shopping District, Miza Yuuji, known as the "beautiful priest," is loved and respected by everyone for his gentle nature and skill as a Buddhist priest. Though he has committed to a life of celibacy and staying unmarried, Yuuji has secretly harbored feelings for his childhood friend, Saburou, since middle school. After being apart for eight years, Saburou returns to town to run his family's tofu shop, forcing Yuuji to confront emotions he believed he had moved past. The situation intensifies one evening when Yuuji gets drunk in Saburou's presence.
