Tono to Inu

殿と犬

The story takes place during Japan's Warring States period. It centers on Tono, a former fearsome deity of the battlefield who has fallen into poverty and now resides in a tenement house, and a dog he takes in despite his meager existence. Tono is bossed around by the dog, which refuses to obey him and spends its days freely and without restraint.

Tono to Inu began as a web comic released on the author's Twitter account on November 6, 2020. Official serialization began on Comic Polaris on March 18, 2021.
