In the late 1800s, the British Empire is at its peak, but its rigid class system keeps most people from advancing while corrupt nobles hold power. William James Moriarty, the second son of the Moriarty family, is a brilliant young mathematics professor known for his sharp intellect and cunning from an early age. He lives a quiet noble life with his brothers, Albert and Louis. Besides teaching, he works as a well-known private consultant helping those in trouble. Yet hidden behind this kind image is the head of a secret group that aims to cause chaos across society, hoping to build a new world from the ruins of the old.
