When Naruse was young, Kuga saved him from bullies, sparking his first love. Now a tough Yankee (delinquent) himself, Naruse enrolls at the same school to get closer to Kuga. However, in the years since, Kuga has become a gloomy introvert, nothing like the boy Naruse remembered. Despite the changed outward appearance, Naruse decides, “At his core, he’s still the Kuga I’ve been chasing all along! I’ll confess my feelings by graduation!!!!!!” Working up his courage to raise his favorability with Kuga, Naruse approaches him—but for some reason, Kuga mistakes his intentions for a shakedown.
