Hotaru no Yomeiri

In "Firefly Wedding," Satoko, the eldest daughter of the esteemed Kirigaya family, has turned down numerous marriage proposals due to her concealed heart condition, despite her elegance and beauty attracting many suitors. Determined to alleviate her father's worries, she decides to find a husband. While out for a walk one day, Satoko is abducted by a group of mercenaries, among them Shinpei Gotou, a renowned assassin tasked with killing her. In a desperate attempt to secure her freedom, Satoko feigns love at first sight and proposes marriage to Gotou. Surprisingly, he agrees, vowing to protect her. As they flee together, Satoko struggles to maintain the charade and begins to uncover the mystery of the man she has married under false pretenses.
