Salaryman Suzume Toujou writes down a list of aspirations he wants to accomplish before hitting forty while at his office desk. His colleague Keishi Tanaka spots the newest entry: finding a lover. To Suzume's surprise, Keishi admits he already knows Suzume is gay and offers his assistance in reaching that goal. As the two progress through the list together, Suzume starts to question whether Keishi is genuinely committed or simply looking for some light entertainment.
