Yeon Skylar appears to be the ideal student—strong grades, active in the photography club, and a polite, thoughtful nature. Yet Skylar is quiet and keeps mostly to himself, with Seong Chan-il, a cheerful and easygoing person, as his only real friend. Over the past year, Skylar has developed romantic feelings for Chan-il and has taken a collection of secret photos of him. This secret is discovered by Baek Cirrus, Chan-il's friendly but mysterious companion. Cirrus agrees to keep Skylar's secret, but does so in a way that only makes Skylar more anxious. Cirrus often speaks with double meanings, and his teasing edges close to revealing Skylar's hidden truth to Chan-il. What follows is a tangled story of blackmail, emotional manipulation, and shifting power between Skylar and Cirrus—two teenagers who are afraid of each other and of the world, and who face the unexpected intensity of feelings they never anticipated.
