A boy's horrifying nightmare marks the end of a decaying humanity. Gi Haru, a high school student, suffers from a condition that blurs the line between reality and hallucinations. His only companions are his diligent friend Kang Yul and his girlfriend Kang Lee Ha. But one day, during Kang Yul's poetry reading, Gi Haru witnesses a vision of a Nazi gathering, and the school descends into a bloody chaos where students slaughter each other. Gi Haru assumes it's just another delusion—yet it is the brutal truth. On that day of mass murder among the entire student body (the starting day), Gi Haru personally kills his girlfriend Kang Lee Ha, is betrayed by his sole friend Kang Yul, and loses both his eyes. He is later confined in a mental institution as the perpetrator of the school massacre, but after receiving aid from the capable Panthers group, he sets out to pursue Kang Yul and embark on a path of revenge.
