The family consists of a son who stays shut in, a daughter who seeks wealthy older men, and a husband who is unfaithful. Noriko, the housewife, believes this family is a failure and lives without dreams or hope. But her life changes drastically when she kills her husband's boss on impulse. She decides that hiding the body is the only way for the family to find happiness. As they work together to hide the corpse, an unusual connection forms among the broken family members.
