In the middle of Japan's severe economic collapse, Shiina Nagasawa turns to prostitution to support her family after her father's bankruptcy. At a gathering of influential government officials, she finds herself exploited by these powerful men. Suddenly, a masked figure bursts into the event, and she recognizes him as her classmate, Shou Hazama, who calls himself "Akumetsu." He confronts the former finance minister, accusing him of various crimes before violently killing him and dragging the body to the lobby. Despite being shot, Akumetsu mysteriously removes his own head. The next day, a confused Shiina returns to school and sees Shou Hazama alive and well in class. How can he be alive, and what does he intend to do now?
