In Vladivostok, Russia, a secret transaction occurs, resulting in a deadly virus falling into the hands of a mysterious woman named Maya. At Mishiro Academy in Japan, Fujimaru Takagi appears to be an ordinary student, but he was once known as "Falcon," a legendary hacker who exposed major criminal organizations before disappearing from the digital world. The elite Third-I division of the Public Security Intelligence Agency, led by Fujimaru's father, Ryunosuke, and his ally Otoya Kujou, are the only ones aware of this fact. After a KGB agent is killed in Japan, a memory chip discovered at the scene becomes the only lead. Third-I recruits Fujimaru to decrypt it, revealing footage of an event called the "Christmas Massacre." As Ryunosuke investigates the murder further, he uncovers clues related to the killing and a mysterious code named "Bloody Monday," only to find himself implicated in the death of his superior. With his father's reputation on the line, Fujimaru must use his hacking skills to help Third-I prevent the impending terror and destruction across Japan while clearing his father's name.
