In "Merry Marbling," Ian is regarded as the ideal student, admired for his honesty, dependability, and handsome appearance, earning him the nickname "the Angel of Christmas." This reputation stems from a compassionate act he performed as a child. When Yugun returns to school after a prolonged absence due to illness, Ian quickly offers assistance to help him readjust. Trusting Ian's seemingly genuine and virtuous character, Yugun accepts the help. However, his trust is shattered when he overhears Ian discussing with his mother how he maintains his flawless public image through calculated actions. Furious at this discovery, Yugun confronts Ian, vowing to expose his true intentions to everyone. Ian's unexpected reply leaves Yugun bewildered: "Go ahead, but I won't be responsible for the consequences afterward." Ian is confident that no one would ever turn against "the Angel of Christmas." Can these two individuals, whose personalities appear fundamentally at odds, find a way to resolve their conflict? Or might they learn to merge and create something unexpectedly harmonious together?
