Set in the near future, Earth faces an alien invasion. The United Nations enacts a draft, requiring all humans to potentially serve as soldiers. Kurando Nieno, a frail high schooler, achieves the absolute minimum scores on the preliminary draft physical. Amidst an alien air raid, a grumpy girl with black hair crashes down before Nieno and tries to suck his blood. It turns out the UN air force and the vampire named Eliza have chosen Nieno to be Eliza's tasty new source of nourishment.
