In D-Frag!, Kenji Kazama, leader of the trio called the Kazama Gang, aims to conquer Fujou High and etch his name into its history. His initial bid to become a feared delinquent backfires, forcing him into the Game Development Club. There, he encounters four distinctive girls: Chitose Karasuyama, the commanding student council president; Minami Oosawa, the relaxed club advisor; Sakura Mizukami, an energetic first-year; and Roka Shibasaki, the tiny club president who is also a barely concealed menace to the school. Each girl has her own reasons for keeping Kenji in the club, fearing its possible closure due to low membership. Though Kenji wants to escape, every attempt to leave only pulls him deeper into the club's activities and its equally odd rivals. As the club's adventures unfold, Kenji, without realizing it, starts to enjoy the experience.
