Following his superior's dismissal in a corruption scandal, Ji Wonyoung is unjustly suspended from work. Seeking a fresh start, he relocates to a secluded town with the aim of restoring his reputation. During his exploration, Wonyoung stumbles upon Yoon Taejun, the chairman's favored artist who abruptly disappeared from the spotlight two years ago. Motivated to regain the chairman's favor, Wonyoung befriends Taejun, masking his real intentions with deceit. Taejun, living under an assumed identity, desires to sever ties with his former life. However, Wonyoung needs to unravel the artist's concealed past to reclaim his job. As he gradually penetrates Taejun's defenses, Wonyoung begins to lose focus on his initial objective, feeling apprehensive about the future of their relationship, knowing that a bond founded on dishonesty is bound to crumble.
