Saint☆Young Men is a humorous slice-of-life—or rather divine-life—manga that follows Jesus and Buddha as they navigate modern life, particularly in Japan. The story pokes fun at religion, cultural norms, and traditional Japanese customs through the lens of these two iconic figures. In the series, Jesus and Buddha explore various aspects of Japanese life, including strolling through Asakusa, enjoying public baths, visiting theme parks, and even browsing the internet. While occasional references are made to their divine origins, they mostly come across as ordinary individuals in contemporary Japanese society. Before their true identities are recognized, many people mistake them for resembling Johnny Depp or simply a man with a distinctive bump on his forehead.
