Kamakura Monogatari

鎌倉ものがたり

Isshiki Masakazu, a mystery author residing in Kamakura, also works as a capable detective. With his wife Akiko, he encounters the demons, spirits, gods, buddhas, and aliens that inhabit Kamakura. His network of acquaintances includes police affiliates and unusual animals. This mystery series is enjoyable for both adults and children as he resolves difficult and bizarre cases with a colorful cast of allies. It is a long-selling and popular mystery work.

Kamakura Monogatari was published in English by Futabasha Publishers since October 2, 2018. The series was chosen as the grand prize winner in the 2015 Manga Translation Battle and received a live action movie on December 9, 2017.
