Ryo Minakawa experienced a brief death lasting only a minute. He was a typical high school student until a girl jumped off a building, killing him along with her. He miraculously revives, but now possesses the ability to see and hear things ordinary people cannot. One day, a mysterious girl named Hokuto Shou appears and tells him that his other half has become a resident of the world of the dead. His once normal life dissipates, and a new existence between the "living" and the "dead" begins.
