Summary

Nadeko Sengoku is a central figure in the Monogatari Series who has known Tsukihi since their elementary school days. Standing at 153 cm and weighing approximately 38 kg, she is characterized by her shy demeanor, tendency to look downward, and bangs that obscure her eyes. She often wears a waist pouch and can be easily entertained. Her favorite foods are hamburgers and yakisoba, while she prefers folk music and the color purple. Born on June 3 as a Gemini with blood type B, she addresses Koyomi as Koyomi onii-chan. She has harbored romantic feelings for him, and he spent considerable time playing with her during her visits to his home, which were arranged by his sisters. Nadeko is highly protective of her hair, specifically her forelocks, believing they serve a sacred protective function that is more important than her underwear. In Nisemonogatari, when she finally moved her forelocks aside, Koyomi noted that her expression resembled that of a serpent, foreshadowing the events of the Nadeko Medusa Arc. The narrative also encompasses the Koyomi Reverse Arc.
