Known as the Black Cat, Dr. Tearju is a renowned researcher specializing in nanotechnology and biology, boasting an IQ exceeding 200. She is the genetic source of Eve’s DNA, having been cloned to create the android, though their eye colors differ, with Tearju possessing green eyes while Eve’s are violet. A genius in Universe Biotechnology since her teenage years, she also created Yami and Mea Kurosaki, utilizing her own cells for Yami but not for Mea. Despite her brilliance, she is calm and composed yet notably scatterbrained, with an uncanny ability to trip over nothing. Her hobbies include reading and gardening, and while she enjoys experimenting with recipes from cookbooks, her cooking skills are lacking, resulting in mushy or gooey dishes that she claims taste better than they look. In the final arc of Black Cat, Tearju suffers from amnesia and is only awakened when Sven and Rinslet show her a photograph of Eve.
