Summary
Aoyama is another friend of Kino and Haga who is nearly, but not quite, as negative as Nozomu. In the manga, he was given the responsibility to become the substitute 'Mr. Despair', a role he maintained for a couple of chapters before quitting because he 'can't help but see a little bit of hope in everything'.
