Summary
Taiga Shimizu is the brother of Kaoru Shimizu. He makes his initial appearance in Season 1, where he is seen asking his sister if playing baseball is enjoyable. He returns in Season 3 as a freshman shortstop on the Seishuu Baseball Team. Despite being the youngest member of the squad, he is considered the most talented player after Goro. His exceptional speed and skills prove crucial in the battle against Kaido. Additionally, he takes over the pitching mound when Goro is injured by Egashira during their practice match with Kaido. Later, Taiga ascends to the role of captain for the Seishuu Baseball Team and once again faces off against Kaido with his new teammates.
