Continues the story of Major: World Series

Led by Gorou Shigeno, the Indiana Hornets push forward in their pursuit of the World Series title. But an unforeseen incident during a game against his longtime rival puts Gorou's ambition to become the top pitcher in the world at risk. Thirteen years after his time with the Indiana Hornets, Gorou Honda's pro baseball career is cut short by a severe injury. Motivated by his father's ability to push through hardships, Gorou chooses to begin his baseball journey again in a different role. His commitment to practice confuses his family, particularly his young daughter Izumi, who is distressed by his frequent absence. Confronted with yet another difficult challenge, Gorou is set on proving his determination through the sport he loves.
