Suicune

Summary

Suicune is a slender, quadrupedal, blue mammalian Pokémon distinguished by white, diamond-shaped markings on its body, with a white face and underside. It features a thick, purple mane that resembles the aurora borealis and two white, streamer-like tails that wave forward. Its long, white snout leads to a large, hexagonal, cerulean blue crest on the forehead, which has two prongs at its base. The Pokémon has red eyes, a small tuft of fur under its chin, and small paws with white paw pads. One hundred and fifty years ago, a lightning bolt struck the Brass Tower in Johto, igniting a massive fire that was eventually extinguished by a sudden downpour. While three unnamed Pokémon perished in the blaze, the Legendary Pokémon resurrected them as the legendary beasts, including Suicune. This entity possesses the ability to walk across water and purify polluted water with a single touch. It traverses grasslands in search of water to cleanse by following the north wind, which consistently blows stronger in its presence. In Pokémon Crystal, Suicune is described as the Legendary beast closest to Ho-Oh, sharing a cooperative bond with the other beasts. Its personality is characterized as heroic, serious, and calm during perilous situations, as shown in Drifloon On the Wind! (DP028). Suicune is believed to embody the north winds and the compassion of pure spring waters. It has a fondness for Suicune Treats prepared by Snacksworth, who once encountered and rode with it in the past. According to Pokémon Sleep, Suicune can be observed sleeping deeply in areas with clean water. Upon awakening, it resumes its global journey, following the north wind to purify fouled water. The Pokémon is known to enjoy Suicune Biscuits and can be lured to its sleeping spots using Suicune Incense.
