Summary
Eclair Seaetto is a human knight hailing from the Castle Town in Melromarc. She wields a sword and serves as the daughter of Seaetto, the Queen’s trusted advisor who oversees the village for demihumans. In a kingdom where prejudice against demi-humans is common, Eclair stands out as one of the few individuals who do not harbor such discrimination. She holds strong noble ideals and remains steadfast in her beliefs until specific incidents challenge her worldview. Initially, Eclair questioned Naofumi’s controversial methods, such as his extortion of bandits, a stance that proved ironic when she eventually adopted similar tactics. When Naofumi sought trainers to help the heroes enhance their abilities for the upcoming wave, she volunteered as a martial arts instructor for his slaves in Rock Valley. Alongside other experts, she played a key role in strengthening Naofumi’s party. Her skills were initially underestimated by Ren, who dismissed her abilities due to his status as a hero and higher level. To prove him wrong, Eclair challenged him to a duel. Relying on pure technique, she managed to push Ren back, frustrating him enough that he resorted to using a skill that violated the duel’s rules. Although he technically won, the Queen called him out on the infraction, and Ren admitted that he had effectively lost the fight.
