Summary
Nobutsuna Shigyou was a male Shinigami with black hair and gray eyes who served as the first captain of the 7th Division more than 1,000 years ago. As one of the original leaders of the Gotei 13, he possessed immense spiritual energy, a fact highlighted when he effortlessly defeated and killed numerous Quincy warriors during their initial invasion of Soul Society. Yhwach described Nobutsuna as an infamous, cold-blooded killer, citing his brutal massacre of the Lichtreich Quincy forces as proof of his ruthless nature. His Zanpakuto appeared in its sealed state as a katana featuring an indigo handle and a rectangular golden tsuba with arrowheads protruding from both sides.
