Takamine, Tokiko
Summary
Tokiko Takamine is a sixteen-year-old second-year student who shares her school with Mitsumi and serves as a dedicated member of the student council. Born on June 30, she has been committed to the council since her first year and aims to succeed the current president. Hanazono-sensei describes her as the most disciplined student at the school, a trait that leads Mitsumi to seek her guidance on how to act more maturely. Tokiko is serious and has little patience for injustice, working tirelessly to maintain her rigorous schedule of council duties. Her strict adherence to time management impresses Mitsumi, who struggles with such regimented planning. Despite her outward success, Tokiko admits to having weekly nightmares about missing her train, revealing the immense pressure she places on herself to achieve her goals. Her stern demeanor and occasional bluntness can make her appear intimidating, causing some peers to avoid her. This social awkwardness often leads to misunderstandings, such as when Segawa, the future soccer team captain, became frustrated by her honest feedback.
