Skip and Loafer

Synopsis

Mitsumi Iwakura leaves her rural hometown behind and moves to Tokyo to attend a top-tier high school, driven by her desire to make a positive impact on Japan. She believes her future is perfectly planned and expects everything to go smoothly from this point forward. On her very first day, however, the country girl finds herself completely lost and running late. She meets Sousuke Shima, another confused first-year student, who guides her to the school just in time. Even with his help, Mitsumi continues to struggle with making a good impression on her new classmates. Despite their very different personalities, Mitsumi and Sousuke's growing friendship draws the attention of those around them. As time goes on, it remains unclear whether Mitsumi can form deep connections with her peers, though she will surely have Sousuke's support along the way.
